    • There is provided a liquid ejecting head which can introduce a liquid in a liquid storage member to a pressure chamber side via a liquid flow path from a liquid introducing needle and which can eject a liquid in the pressure chamber from a nozzle opening as a liquid drop by operation of a pressure generator. The liquid introducing needle constructed in a hollow needle shape includes an introducing needle portion in which a liquid introducing through hole for introducing a liquid in the liquid storage member is opened, and a cylindrical enlarged diameter straight portion formed at the downstream side of the introducing needle portion and whose inner diameter is enlarged than the inner diameter of the introducing needle portion. The inner space of the enlarged diameter straight portion is to be a bubble chamber which can store a bubble and the enlarged diameter straight portion includes a groove portion extending from the upstream side toward the down stream side on the inner circumference surface.

    • A liquid ejecting head includes a flow path formation substrate on which individual flow paths communicating with nozzle openings for ejecting liquid are provided, a first member which is provided at one surface side of the flow path formation substrate and has pressure generation units for generating pressure change in liquid in the individual flow paths, and a second member which is provided at a surface side of the flow path formation substrate, which is opposite to the first member.     • A liquid ejection head includes a channel unit with a channel substrate provided with a channel section having pressure chamber cavity rows formed by arranging a plurality of pressure chamber cavities in rows. The liquid ejection head also includes a nozzle substrate provided with a plurality of nozzle orifices formed so as to correspond to the pressure chambers. A sealing plate of the liquid ejection head seals an opening of the channel section of the channel substrate, in which the nozzle substrate is joined, with one surface of the channel substrate. The sealing plate is joined with the opposite surface of the channel substrate so that the channel unit has a series of liquid channels from a common liquid chamber to the nozzle orifices. The liquid ejection head has a head case to which the channel unit is fixed.

    • A liquid jet head and apparatus prevent an increase in the viscosity of liquid in the liquid path during long term storage. The recording head has a liquid path unit 1 with nozzle openings 8, pressure generation chambers 7, liquid reservoirs 9, and a diaphragm 5, and a head case 2 bonded to the liquid path unit 1. A damper chamber 12 for releasing pressure change inside the liquid reservoir is formed at a part of the head case or seal plate 5 corresponding to the liquid reservoir 9. A release path 14B for releasing pressure in the damper chamber to the air is formed in the head case. A control path 14A communicating with the damper chamber and release path and having a specific flow resistance restricting dispersion of moisture vapor from the liquid is formed in the head case and/or seal plate.
