    • The invention is to provide a display having a display screen, a light source, an accommodating device, a light guide plate, and a reflection film. The display screen has an outer frame. The light source is positioned at one side of the display screen. The accommodating device is adapted to accommodate the light source. The accommodating device has at least one side surface, and an opening is formed on the side surface. The light guide plate is position next to the side surface of the accommodating device. The reflection film is pasted on the light guide and the light guide plate is positioned between the accommodating device and the reflection film. Lights of the light source are directed into the light guide plate via the opening of the accommodating device first and reflected by the reflection film, so that the outer frame of the display screen is self-illuminated.

    • The present invention is related to an illuminated logo device positioned in a display. The display has a light source and a light guiding plate, and the illuminated logo device has a logo, a casing, a lid, and a light transmitting device. The casing has an encapsulating space, and a groove with a first opening is arranged on the casing for receiving the logo. The lid is positioned above and a predetermined distance away from the casing. Moreover, the lid has a through hole corresponding to the first opening. The light transmitting device is positioned in the through hole and the first opening, and the light transmitting device has a first end surface and a second end surface. The first end surface of the light transmitting device is faced to the first opening and the second end surface contacts the light guiding plate for guiding lights of the light source to the logo via the light transmitting device and the light guiding plate, such that the logo is illuminated without any additional light source.

    • A hollow backlight module includes a first light guide plate, a second light guide plate, two light sources, a reflecting plate and a diffusing film. The first light guide plate and the second light guide plate form a hollow light-guiding zone therebetween. The two light sources are located respectively at two sides of the hollow light-guiding zone. The reflecting plate is located between the outer surface of the second light guide plate. The diffusing film is located above the outer surface of the first light guide plate. Lights emitted from the light sources first enter the hollow light-guiding zone and then into the first and the second light guide plates. The reflecting plate reflects the lights back to the hollow light-guiding zone. The diffusing film diffuses the light projected from the first light guide plate and outputs uniform lights.

    • A device for patterning an optical element includes a working platform, a linear cutting pedestal, at least a cutting tool, at least a weight sliding block and a shaft. An optical element to be patterned is carried on the working platform. The working platform is driven to move horizontally. The linear cutting pedestal is mounted above the working platform. An upper sliding track in which the weight sliding blocks can move back and forth and provide appropriate press forces to the cutting tools, is disposed at the top of the linear cutting pedestal. A lower sliding track in which the cutting tools can move back and forth and be adjusted to appropriate positions according to patterns desired for the optical element, is disposed at the bottom of the linear cutting pedestal. The shaft is positioned above the linear cutting pedestal and drives the linear cutting pedestal to move vertically. By means of a linear relative motion of the working platform to the linear cutting pedestal, the cutting tools at the bottom of the linear cutting pedestal cut out grooves on the optical element.
