摘要： There is provided an ecommerce method and system to generate a data dictionary for searching data items stored in a database. In one embodiment, the system comprises a candidate list generator module to generate a list of keywords from search query information and generate a set of token pairs including a keyword from the list of keywords and a token, the token being a synonym of the keyword. Demand information retrieved from query logs maintained for user-provided query entries is used to apply candidate selection rules to token pairs. The system also comprises a validation module and a data dictionary module to receive validated token pairs as entries in a vocabulary.

摘要： In various example embodiments, a system and method to provide query linguistic service is provided. An initial query term set is received. Phrase recognition is performed on the initial query term set to determine recognized phrases. Using the determined recognized phrases, one or more synonyms for each of the recognized phrases are determined. Results matching the initial query term set and any selected synonyms from the determined one or more synonyms are determined.

摘要： Queries submitted by users when interacting with a network-based system may be analyzed by a query mining machine that determines a theme common to the submitted queries. The machine accesses the submitted queries and identifies a portion of the submitted queries as corresponding to the theme. Identification of the portion may include determining a strength score of a submitted query, where the strength score indicates a degree of influence that the submitted query is to have on the identifying of the portion. The machine generates a thematic query based on the identified portion and obtains search results by executing the thematic query. The search results correspond to a group of items. The machine presents at least some of the group of items as a collection that corresponds to the theme (e.g., within a temporary electronic storefront).
