    • A fiber management apparatus includes a module for managing fibers. In one implementation, the module includes at least two trays. An upper one of the trays is slidable and pivotable relative to a base tray to allow access to fibers managed by the base tray. In another implementation, the module is coupled to a chassis and is pivotable through an angle greater than 90 degrees relative to the chassis. A kit for mounting a chassis includes at least two different sized sets of brackets for mounting the chassis to racks of various different widths. A method of managing fibers includes pulling a module having multiple trays out of a chassis, pulling a first exposed one of the trays outward from the chassis, and lifting the first tray to expose a second one of the trays.

    • A method and system for validating data. Warehouse data is generated by transforming source data via an ETL transformation model. A data cube is generated by transforming the warehouse data via an OLAP transformation model. A report dataset (MDS1) is generated from the data cube. A reference dataset (S) is generated from the source data. Whether MDS1 matches S is determined. If MDS1 doesn't match S, then an OLAP inverse transformation is performed on MDS1 to generate an OLAP dataset (MDS2) and whether MDS2 matches S is determined. If MDS1 doesn't match S and MDS2 does not match S, then an ETF inverse transformation is performed on MDS2 to generate an ETL dataset (MDS3) and whether MDS2 matches MDS1 and whether MDS3 matches S is determined. If MDS1 doesn't match S and MDS2 does not match S and MDS3 does not match S, then whether MDS3 matches MDS2 is determined.

    • A system and a method for progressive queries, which are a sequence of queries for visual search of an image, sent from a sender to a receiver of a communication network, are disclosed. Queries based on a set of feature points and their associated locations of an image may be selected in sequence. A sender sends a first query to a receiver, wherein the first query comprises a number of feature points which is a subset of the set of feature points of the image invariant to rotation and scaling in creating the image. The sender receives a feedback from the receiver, wherein the feedback is generated by the receiver based on searching an image repository using information from the first query. The sender then decides whether there is a match of the image in the image repository based on the received feedback.
