    • A key assembly for a saxophone includes an elongated body adapted to be pivotal relative to a saxophone body and having a key formed on one end of the elongated body for selectively closing a hole in the saxophone body in response to the pivotal movement of the elongated body, a casing formed on the other end of the elongated body, a sliding block movably received in the casing from the top opening of the casing and having multiple positioning holes defined in a side face thereof, a key finger button to move simultaneously with the sliding block and a locking block threadingly extendable into the casing and having a locking pin to be extendable into one of the positioning holes of the sliding block so as to secure position of the sliding block as well as the key finger button relative to the elongated body.

    • A quick-acting telescopic tube has a stationary tube, a detent lining, an extension tube, a lock activating assembly, a bottom plug, an activating rod, a spring and a ball. The detent lining is mounted securely in the stationary tube and has multiple detents. The extension tube is mounted movably in the detent lining and has a top and a bottom. The lock activating assembly is mounted around the top of the extension tube and has a lever extending into the extension tube. The bottom plug is mounted securely in the bottom of the extension tube and has a transverse through hole. The activating rod is mounted in the extension tube, connects to the lever and has a locking piston with an annular recess. The ball is mounted in the transverse through hole and selectively in either one of the detents or the annular recess.

    • A snare-adjusting device for adjusting a tension of a snare on a snare drum has a drum mount, a slide assembly and a tone lever assembly. The drum mount is mounted the snare drum and has a slide cavity, an opening and multiple blind holes. The slide assembly is mounted in the drum mount and has a slider and a snare fastener. The slider is mounted slidably in the slide cavity and has an inclined slot. The snare fastener is mounted to the slider and holds the snare. The tone lever assembly is mounted pivotally on the drum mount and has a tone lever, a sliding member and an alignment member. The sliding member is mounted slidably the inclined slot in the slider. The alignment member detachably engages one of the blind holes. Pivoting the tone lever to align with different blind holes easily changes the tone of the snare.

    • A musical instrument stand with a self-locking neck lock assembly for a guitar-shaped musical instrument has a post, multiple legs and a self-locking neck lock assembly. The self-locking neck lock assembly is attached to the post and has a stationary bracket, two locking palms, a movable bracket and a spring. The stationary bracket is attached securely to the post and has a U-shaped stationary collar having two distal ends. The locking palms are rotatably mounted on respectively the distal ends. The movable bracket is mounted pivotally on the stationary bracket and has a U-shaped movable collar. The movable collar has two distal ends mounted slidably to the palms to open or close the palms. The spring is mounted between the stationary and movable brackets and biases the movable collar upward to open the palms. When the movable bracket pivots down, the locking palms pivot to lock the neck.

    • An instrument support has a bracket provided with a first leg, a second leg, a disk and two forks. Each of the first leg and the second leg has a through hole defined in a side face of the first leg and second leg to communicate with an interior of the first leg and second leg to receive therein a spring-ball combination.
