摘要： A nestable crate for bottles which includes a floor member and first and second pairs of opposed sidewalls integrally formed with the floor member. Each sidewall includes a side band member which is defined by a centrally disposed upper edge and lower edge. The lower edge is spaced above the floor member by a predetermined distance to define a sidewall nesting area therebelow. The upper and lower edges each contoured downwardly to form a corner band portion having a corner upper edge and corner lower edge, wherein each nesting area matingly receives a corresponding side band member of a crate nested subjacent thereto.

摘要： A nestable pallet includes a top deck which has a substantially planar upper surface upon which a plurality of objects. The top deck has an upper surface and at least one opening formed therein. The pallet also includes a foot portion corresponding to the at least one opening. The foot portion has an inner surface, an outer surface, and an upright member which projects upwardly toward the top deck and has a hollow area disposed thereunder. In a nesting orientation, the hollow area receives the upward projecting member of a subjacent pallet. Preferably, the upper surface of the top deck portion is flat and substantially planar, upon which a plurality of objects are capable of resting. The opening, the inner surface and the upright member define a pocket for receiving the foot portion of a like pallet in a nesting orientation. In another embodiment, the pocket includes at least one aperture for drainage. In still another embodiment, the pocket includes at least one nesting stop portion.

摘要： A stackable case for retaining and transporting bottles including outer side walls forming an outer shell having a longitudinal axis and a horizontal axis, a case bottom disposed substantially within the outer shell, and a plurality of supports for supporting the outer surfaces of the bottles. The side walls include a lower wall portion and a plurality of spaced upwardly projecting pylons, where four corner pylons define the four corners of the case. A plurality of spaced upwardly projecting columns generally disposed within the outer shell define, in combination with the case bottom, the side walls and the end walls, a plurality of bottle retaining pockets. The columns and the pylons extend above the lower wall portions and below a top surface of the retained bottles. The end walls each include an integrally molded handle structure suspended between an upper portion of adjacent corner pylons to thereby define a generally open end wall area below the handle structure. The handle structure allows the bottle case to be manipulated with either a palm up or palm down orientation of the hand.

摘要： A stacking crate for bottles has a plurality of tapered pylons extending upward from a periphery of a floor. A rib extends downwardly in the interior of a cavity in each pylon. Each pylon further includes a slot in an upper surface of the pylon substantially aligned with the rib. When similar crates are nested, the ribs in the pylons of one crate will rest in the slots in the upper surface of the pylons of the lower crate, thus permitting the crates to be nested.

摘要： A low depth, nestable display crate for bottles, preferably of single serve capacity, is integrally molded from plastic and comprises two basic components--a floor and a wall structure extending up from the floor and extending around the periphery of the floor. The floor preferably has an open lattice design and includes container support areas. The bottom surface of the floor is configured for accommodating the tops of bottles in a similar crate underneath. The wall structure comprises a lower wall portion adjacent the floor and a plurality of integrally formed pylons arranged around the periphery of the crate. The pylons are hollow and tapered so that pylons of empty crates can nest within one another. Handles are integrally formed to extend between pylons on opposing walls to provide handle bars flush with the tops of the pylons. This configuration of the handles provides sufficient clearance for a user's hands to grasp the handle bars in either a palm-up or palm-down position to facilitate handling of the crate and alleviate hand and wrist fatigue and prevent injuries. The crate of the present invention combines the advantages of a nesting crate with sufficient strength afforded by its double-walled construction, ease of handling and maximum, unobstructed visibility of the bottles.
