    • A system for controlling access at secure facilities to locations and assets contained in those locations, comprising a biometric identification device, an RFID tag and receiver, and a database for processing information from them to allow or deny access to the locations and assets. The system ties into an existing network in the facility and also includes a programming device for evaluation of the biometric template and acknowledgement of the identification, if made. The system also controls the permissible locations of assets such as laptops, desktop computers, photographic equipment, weapons such as rifles, data storage devices and the like, such that while a person may have access to a location, use of an asset or removal of the asset may not be part of that person's authorized conduct.

    • Disclosed is a container for holding food, the container comprising a food-receiving compartment defined by a top panel, a bottom panel and at least one side panel. There is a separable section defined within one of the top, bottom and at least one side panel. A housing is associated with the separable section, the housing adapted to house a single napkin or multiple napkins that are interleaved within one another. An opening or slit is defined in the housing wherein when the separable section is separated from the panel, the opening is exposed and napkins can be withdrawn singly therethrough. The housing may be positioned in the food-receiving compartment or in a double-layered panel. The housing may be a plastic film retainer or a foil pouch. The container is especially useful as a pizza delivery box or a take-out food box.

    • Methods for recovering high-resolution images from an analog video interface by autonomously correcting for phase errors between a synchronized clock signal to a sampling analog-to-digital converter and the input video signal. A global phase adjustment first detects video transitions in the sampled video data stream in order to determine and then select the optimum clock phase over entire video frames for rendering the pixels of the video input. This corrects for long-term phase errors, such as those from timing tolerances in circuit components and timing tolerances in the video input. A local phase adjustment selects the samples used for rendering individual pixels according to an algorithm that avoids the selection of samples that may be located within video transition regions. This corrects for short-term phase errors, such as those from jitter and phase drift on the sample clock.
