    • A concrete mold device for vertically forming a concrete panel comprises a plurality of concrete forms for collectively defining a mold cavity for receiving an uncured concrete mixture therein. The concrete forms include: a pair of opposing side wall forms configured to define side wall surfaces of the mold cavity; and a pair of opposing end wall forms, configured to define end wall surfaces of the mold cavity. An elongate lower support gasket has an upper surface configured to define a bottom surface of the mold cavity, the lower support gasket having gasket side walls configured to abut against at least a portion of each of the side wall forms to provide a seal between the lower support gasket and the side wall forms to retain the concrete mixture within the mold cavity. Reinforcing structure is associated with the lower support gasket to increase a load-bearing capacity of the lower support gasket.

    • A split tile and a whole tile are for attachment to a building structure. The split tile includes a base section, a first section and a second section. The first section and the second section each extend from the base section in adjacent relationship. The first section, the second section, and the base section are substantially planar. A line is defined between the first section and the second section for providing the appearance of multiple shingle tabs on the split tile. The whole tile includes the base section and a third section extending from the base section. The base section provides the appearance of a shingle tab on the whole tile. When a plurality of the split tile and the whole tile are attached to a building structure, a staggered appearance of the shingle tile is provided.

    • A lockable shutter assembly has first and second shutters mounted operatively to a building and movable between open and closed positions. A locking device of the assembly has a bracket that extends longitudinally along a gap formed between the shutters when in the closed position. The bracket is supported slidably by the first shutter via a sliding coupling and regardless of shutter position. A releasable interlock of the locking device is carried between the bracket and the second shutter and generally operates between released and locked states. The assembly is placed into the locked state by movement of the bracket when the shutters are in the closed position.

    • A shutter assembly for protecting an opening in a structure. The shutter assembly includes a first shutter and a second shutter. Each of the shutters have an attachment end and a free end and defining a width between the corresponding attachment end and the corresponding free end and each present an outer surface. An impact-resistant sheet is disposed on each outer surface. A plurality of hinges are adapted to pivotally couple each shutter to the structure at the attachment end for allowing the shutter to pivot between an open position and a closed position. A crossbar is sized to span the first shutter and the second shutter and terminate at or before the attachment ends of the shutters. A plurality of studs are disposed in linear alignment across the shutters. The crossbar is adapted to engage the studs for securing the shutters in the closed position.
