    • The present invention relates to a method for enhancing harvest security of crops needing vernalization comprising the steps: a) advanced seeding of a crop variety before seeding of such crop variety is generally carried out in the respective area, and b) applying a mixture comprising at least two active compounds (A) selected from the group consisting of mepiquat chloride, chlormequat chloride, N,N-dimethylmorpholinium chloride, metconazole, tebuconazole, paclobutrazol, trinexapac and prohexadion or an agriculturally useful salt thereof to the crop variety seeded according to step a).
