摘要： At least one statistical output associated with a process model and a rate of change associated with each statistical output is identified, such as by using historical data associated with the process model. The statistical outputs and the rates of change are used to generate a graphical display, such as a phase plane plot. Each point in the display is based on one of the statistical outputs and its associated rate of change. The graphical display could include multiple portions, such as quadrants, and one of the portions can be selected and highlighted. The different portions of the graphical display may represent whether the process model is a poor fit to current conditions and approaching a better fit, a poor fit and approaching a poorer fit, a good fit and approaching a poorer fit, and a good fit and approaching a better fit.

摘要： A method and an Adaptive Knowledge Management is provided. The Adaptive Knowledge Management System is used for assisting a user with decision making by providing real-time, on-line automated recommendations for actions in a monitored vehicle troubleshooting, performance trend monitoring, health management and preemptive maintenance domain diagnostics and prognostics. The system creates a Structured Knowledge Repository, constructed from models, historical data, and heuristics for organizing a model domain knowledge. It uses a plurality of Analytical and Machine Learning tools for capturing knowledge from data sources and populating cells of the Structured Knowledge Repository. A Mixed-Initiative Planning module is used for interpreting operation goals for the monitored vehicle and utilizing the Structure Knowledge Repository for developing recommendations for user decision making. A plurality of Mixed-initiative Decision Support tools use the feedback from the Mixed-initiative Planning module and query the Structured Knowledge Repository for incorporating the extracted knowledge and information into outputs dealing with current issues and contingencies.

A set of rows in the alarm trend list can be organized in a top-to-bottom manner. A set of alarm indicators within each row in the alarm trend list can be arranged in a right-to-left horizontal arrangement. The set of alarm indicators can be aligned with most recent alarms appearing on a right side of the alarm trend list. The specific alarm indicators can be selected in the alarm trend list, so that a corresponding item can be highlighted in the alarm summary list, if the alarms are active. Hence, the system and method can allow an operator to see when alarms occur, their sequence, relations and priority, which aid the operators cope with inevitable alarm floods.
