    • A motor includes a housing, a front cover, a rotating shaft, and a cooling fan. The front cover is provided with multiple air guiding fins and defines multiple inlet holes. The housing defines at least one communication hole at its surrounding wall. In use, a central portion of the air current generated by the cooling fan can be guided by the air guiding fins to pass through the inlet holes to enter the motor's housing. An outer portion of the air current can flow along the outer surface of the housing. The way of dissipating heat through multiple paths allows the heat generated in the motor to be dissipated more effectively, so that heat is not easy to accumulate in the motor, and thus the performance and service life of the motor can be increased.

    • A motor includes a substantially cylindrical housing, a rotor assembly, a cover, a sleeve, and a cooling fan. The cooling fan is installed at one end of a rotating shaft of the rotor assembly to induce airflow. The sleeve, being closely fitted around the housing, is integrally formed with a plurality of wind-caching projections, each of which is located above one upstream through hole defined on the housing and faces towards the cooling fan. The wind-catching projections can receive the airflow induced by the cooling fan and guides the airflow to enter the housing via the upstream through holes to dissipate the heat accumulated in the motor, so that the motor can be prevented from damages due to heat accumulation. Therefore, the performance and service life of the motor can be increased.

    • An air compressor includes an air storage unit defining a first chamber and a cylinder containing a piston body. The top wall of the cylinder is formed with a tubular projection defining a bore to serve as a second pressure chamber. When the piston head of the piston body is almost in contact with the top wall of the cylinder, part of the compressed air can enter the second pressure chamber, so that the piston body can conduct reciprocation motion more smoothly. Furthermore, the cylinder has an open bottom that is divided into two halves according to a central vertical line of the cylinder, wherein one half of the open bottom is horizontal while the other half of the open bottom is slanted. When the piston body is at BDC, the piston head will be entirely within the cylinder and thus keep gas-tight with the cylinder.
