In general, the devices and methods for heating fuel hoses and nozzles can be configured to heat fluid dispensable by a user into a fuel tank or other type of container. In some embodiments, a fuel dispensing device can include a first passageway configured to pass fluid therethrough and can include a second passageway configured to pass heated air therethrough. The heated air passing through the second passageway can be configured to heat the fluid passing through the first passageway. In some embodiments, a fuel dispensing device can include a single hose configured to pass fluid and heated air through separate passageways therein, and the device can include a manifold configured to facilitate passage of the fluid and the heated air from separate sources into the single hose.

In one embodiment, a protective end cap for use with a motor assembly is provided and includes a junction box housing having a sealed end that can couple to a motor, and an opposite open end that can couple to an end plate. The junction box housing can be configured to house a junction box that allows electrical wires extending through the end plate to couple to electrical wires extending from the motor through the sealed end of the junction box housing. A motor assembly having a junction box housing and methods for replacing a motor assembly in a fuel dispenser are also provided.

摘要： Methods, systems, and devices are provided for adapting sound in fuel dispensing devices. A fuel dispenser is provided for dispensing fuel to a vehicle including a housing base, a hose with a nozzle coupled to the housing, a control system in the housing for controlling the dispensing of fuel into a vehicle, and an electronics module. A graphical display is located on the electronics module for presenting audio and video information to a customer. The graphical display is configured to detect surrounding noise and to adjust a volume of the audio information accordingly. The volume can also be adjusted upon actuation of a trigger and/or continuously. At least one transducer can be provided that is coupled to the trigger and to the graphical display. A transducer being configured to continuously detect surrounding noise can also be provided coupled to the graphical display.
