摘要： A photosensitive material is described which comprises a base and a solid photosensitive layer comprising a photopolymerizable compound and a photopolymerization initiating mixture consisting of an oxime ester, a photopolymerization initiator and a p-dialkylaminobenzene of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are lower alkyl, R.sup.3 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy or N(R.sup.1) (R.sup.2) and X is --CO--, --CS--, CH.sub.2, or --CH(OH)--.Synergistic photocuring sensitivity is obtained by said oxime ester in admixture with said p-dialkyl aminobenzene compound.

摘要： A liquid developer composition for rendering visible electrostatically charged areas. The composition contains in an electrically insulating non-polar carrier liquid having a volume resistivity of at least 10.sup.9 ohm.cm and a dielectric constant less than 3, dispersed coloring matter acting as toner particles and at least one onium salt polymer including recurring units incorporating an onium group together with an anion. The anion has at least one of the following characteristics:(1) contains a negatively charged atom or group of atoms which is sterically embraced by at least two non-ionic substituents containing at least 4 C atoms;(2) contains a negatively charged atom which is sterically embraced by at least 4 atoms selected from the group consisting of oxygen and halogen;(3) contains a negatively charged atom or group of atoms the negative charge of which is delocalized over other atoms linked to said atom or group of atoms;(4) is a radical anion,whereby the onium salt polymer is adsorbed with a net positive charge on the toner particles. An illustrative onium salt polymer species is a copolymer of isobutyl methacrylate, stearyl methacrylate and dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate that has been quaternized with methyl iodide and of which the iodide anions have been replaced by tetraphenyl boride anions.

摘要： A latex is formed of a copolymer of 90 to 98% by weight of ethyl acrylate and 2 to 10% by weight of an ionogenic comonomer. The latter comprises in its structure a polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated bond, a hydrophobic chain comprising at least 8 carbon atoms, and a strong hydrophilic group taken from a sulpho group, a sulphato group or a phosphono group in acid or salt form.Photographic layers are described wherein the above latex is used as plasticizer for gelatin.

摘要： An aqueous copolyester dispersion suitable for the subbing of polyester film without use of organic solvents wherein the copolyester contains recurring ester groups derived from ethylene glycol and an acid mixture essentially consisting of 20 to 60 mole % of isophthalic acid, 6 to 10 mole % of sulphoisophthalic acid whose sulfo group is in salt from, 0.05 to 1 mole % of an aromatic polycarboxylic acid compound having at least three carboxylic acid groups, which compound is not capable of forming intramolecularly an anhydride and includes at least two carboxylated aromatic nuclei, and the balance of terephthalic acid; the copolyester has a glass transition temperature of at least 50.degree. C. and an intrinsic viscosity of from 0.15 to 0.45 dl/g when measured at 25.degree. C. in a mixture of phenol/o-dichlorobenzene (60/40 by volume).
