摘要： An electronic typewriter includes a plurality of character keys, a specification selector, a printer circuit, and a memory for storing a plurality of specification tables, each having a plurality of key data. A data processing circuit detects a determined one of the plurality of specification tables in response to a selection signal from the specification selector, and reads out the corresponding key data from the specification table selected in accordance with the operation of the character keys, thereby driving the printer circuit in accordance with the key data. The specification selector includes a plurality of selection switches formed on the same keyboard together with the plurality of character keys.

Upon the insertion of the memory unit in the connector, the static electricity accumulate in the memory unit is discharged surely to a ground without affecting the semiconductor memory of the memory unit through the signal terminals and the reception signal terminals.

The bearing device comprises a radial bearing 5 into which the supporting shaft 2a is fitted and which rotatably supports the roller 3 on the supporting shaft 2a; a thrust bearing 6 arranged toward one end face of the radial bearing 5; and a preload-applying member 7 interposed between the radial bearing 5 and the thrust bearing 6. The radial bearing 5 and the thrust bearing 6 are slider bearings obtained by being molded from different resin compositions.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for driving a printer carrier. One power source is connected via a constant current circuit to the carrier motor. Data storing means stores the current command data corresponding to the acceleration, constant speed printing and deceleration of the carrier motor. According to the method, the current command data from the data storing means is latched in synchronism with a clock signal. The latched data is converted to a current reference voltage. The output current of the constant current drive circuit is varied in accordance with the current reference voltage. Changing the current command data as desired makes it possible to adjust freely the torque of the carrier motor for acceleration and deceleration on a constant voltage from one power source.
