    • A pump includes a pump chamber, a reciprocally, driven body that is moved to perform a pumping function by changing the capacity of the pump chamber, and a driving mechanism that reciprocally moves the driven body. The driving mechanism includes a rotating plate which is fixed to an output shaft of a motor and has an annular groove therein. A ball is sandwiched between an annular groove of a driving plate and the annular groove of the rotating plate. When the rotating plate begins rotating, the ball moves in the annular grooves and changes the inclined direction of the driving plate, thus, causing the driven body to reciprocate.

    • In a magnetic recording and/or reproducing apparatus, when the reproduced audio data is processed in the reproduction system and the record system and is re-recorded in every cycle of N times the cycle during which the reproducing magnetic head scans a pair of recording tracks, the recording magnetic head is positioned behind the reproducing magnetic head for 8.5+4N track pitch so that the reproduced audio data can be re-recorded on the original recording track, therefor a write-after-read processing can be realized. The 2 channel audio data is recorded by interleave processing in every cycle of N times the cycle forming a pair of recording tracks, so that even when the cycle during which a pair of recording track is formed is not kept to a multiple of integer of sample cycle, a magnetic recording apparatus and a magnetic recording and/or reproducing apparatus which record and reproduce a plurality of channel audio data can be provided.

    • An encoding method for error correction of digital information data is provided. The encoding method comprises the steps of arranging the digital information data in a plurality of blocks each including a plurality of symbols, and generating first redundacy data from first respective groups of digital information data constituting symbols which exist in at least two blocks in a first direction. Second redundancy data is generated from second respective groups of digital information data constituting symbols which are included in the plurality of blocks in a second direction. First code sequences are formed for first error detection from the first digital information data groups and the first redundancy data, and second code sequences are formed for second error detection from the second digital information data group and the second redundancy code. Blocks including at least one of the digital information data and the first redundancy data are transmitted, and blocks including the second redundancy data are also transmitted.
