    • A method for improving quality of an image includes storing feature quantity candidates each having a luminance component for improving of quality of a first image, dividing the first image into blocks with an overlapping region formed between adjacent first and second blocks, assigning first and second feature quantity candidates selected from the feature quantity candidates of the storage to the first and second blocks, respectively, calculating an energy expressing each similarity between first and second luminance patterns of the first and second feature quantity candidates in the overlapping region, selecting one first feature quantity and one second feature quantity from the first and second feature quantity candidates, using the energy, and improving qualities of the first and second blocks using the first and second feature quantities to generate a second image.

    • An image processing device includes an estimator, a first calculator, a selector, a determination module, and a third calculator. The estimator estimates a motion vector to reference images of an input video from a target pixel of a process target image. The first calculator calculates candidate pixel values corresponding to positions in the reference images. The selector selects a motion vector for which the error is small as many as the number smaller than the number of motion vectors acquired for the target pixel. The determination module determines the candidate pixel values corresponding to the selected motion vectors. The third calculator calculates a pixel value after correction of the target pixel from an arithmetic average or a weighted sum of the candidate pixel value determined equal to or less than the reference and the pixel value of the target pixel.

    • A structure of instrument panel parts is proposed that is capable of increasing the support strength of a striker and the rigidity of an opening portion, and with which an enlarged storage volume can be achieved. The structure of an instrument panel has a storage portion arranged above a glove box. The structure includes an opening portion for a tray provided above the glove box; a tray constituting the storage portion, the tray being provided as a separate member from the instrument panel and being attached to the opening portion for the tray; a striker engaging a lock of the glove box; and a substantially flat plate-shaped striker reinforcement member supporting the striker. The lower side of the tray and the striker reinforcement member are fastened together to the instrument panel.
