    • A gas sensing member has a unit structure and a porous protective layer disposed on the unit structure. The unit structure has a solid electrolyte body, a gas measurement electrode disposed on a surface of the body and exposed to a measured gas entering at a gas inlet, a reference gas electrode disposed on another surface of the body and exposed to a reference gas, and a heater disposed close to the body. The heater has a heater substrate and heating elements disposed in the heater substrate. The heating elements heat the body. The heater substrate has side corner areas placed on side corners of the unit structure and being adjacent to the heating elements. The protective layer is disposed on the gas inlet such that the side corner areas are not covered with the protective layer and are directly exposed to the measured gas.

    • A gas sensor and method of manufacturing the gas sensor are disclosed. The gas sensor comprises a gas sensing element, an insulating element holder having an element inserting bore through which the gas sensing element axially extends, a housing fixedly supporting the insulating element holder, an airtight sealant and a cushioning filler. Ceramic slurry, composed of at least ceramic powder and binder, is filled in an area between the gas sensing element and the insulating element holder on a leading end portion of the element inserting bore and fired to form a cushioning filler. The ceramic slurry contains 47 to 53 wt % of ceramic solids for a gross weight of ceramic slurry and a binder laying in a value ranging from 5 to 10 wt % for a weight of the ceramic solids.

    • A cargo bin liner is adapted to retain and store a tonneau cover therein. The cargo bin liner includes a central cup-shaped member and a pair of wings that extend outwardly from opposite ends of the cup-shaped wall. The wings include a base wall, forward wall, a rearward wall, and an end wall. The forward and rearward walls are spaced apart a distance that closely corresponds to a width dimension of the tonneau cover received therebetween such that the tonneau cover is snugly fitted against unintended horizontal movement. The end wall includes mounting members that engage terminal ends of the tonneau cover and prevent unintended vertical and horizontal movement of the tonneau cover.     • This invention provides a method of manufacturing a ceramic heater which includes the steps of: preparing a ceramic heater base member; applying a platinum paste to a surface of the heater base member so as to form a heater pattern on the surface; applying a ceramic paste to the surface of the heater base member so as to form an insulating layer that covers the heater pattern on the surface; and firing the heater base member with the heater pattern and the insulating layer formed thereon, wherein in the firing step, differences among maximum shrinkage percentages of the heater base member, the heater pattern, and the insulating layer are less than or equal to 5%. With the method, interfacial separation is prevented from occurring at the interfaces among the heater base member, heater pattern, and insulating layer, thus resulting in the ceramic heater having superior insulation properties and durability.

The fixed hook member defines a receptacle that releasably receives the fixed hook member.
