摘要： A touch panel control circuit includes a switch signal generation circuit, a touch panel drive signal generation circuit that generates a touch panel drive signal, and a synchronizing signal generation circuit. The switch signal generation circuit generates a switch signal corresponding to a generation timing of the touch panel drive signal. The switch signal specifies a switching period during which a switching liquid crystal drive signal driving a switching liquid crystal panel is switched to a touch panel drive signal and supplied to a common board that is commonly used for a touch panel and a switching liquid crystal panel. The synchronizing signal generation circuit generates a synchronizing signal that starts switching from the switching liquid crystal drive signal to the touch panel drive signal at a predetermined period.

The coordinate calculation circuit 22 includes: an averaging circuit 221 that calculates an average value for the signal voltage values outputted from the sensor output read circuit 21 over two cycles of the vertical synchronizing signal; and a contact position detection circuit 222 that detects the contact position on the basis of the average value.

The sensor control circuit (23) performs a scanning operation for obtaining full-screen sensor data in such a manner that the scanning operation is divided into a plurality of parts. The coordinate calculation circuit (22) includes: a sensor output synthesis circuit (221) that synthesizes the sensor data obtained by the plurality of divided parts of the scanning operation so as to generate full-screen sensor data; and a coordinate position detection circuit (222) that detects the position of the contact by the touching object, based on full-screen sensor data.
