    • A metal shield structure is provided for an integrated circuit (IC) having at least a first metal contact coupled to a fixed potential and a second metal contact. A first passivation layer is located between the first and second metal contacts and on a first portion of the first metal contact and a first portion of the second metal contact, leaving a second portion of the first metal contact and a second portion of the second metal contact uncovered by the first passivation layer. A metal shield layer is provided on the second portion of the first metal contact and on the first passivation layer, and a second passivation layer is formed on the metal shield layer.

    • An auxiliary neutron detector apparatus designed for attaching and supplementation to an existing gamma-ray spectrometer adds improved neutron detection capabilities. The apparatus uses the existing detector and so does not require additional detector materials, including 3He, which are required by conventional neutron detector attachments. Because of the cost and limited availability of detector materials, this invention is particularly valuable for upgrading systems without existing neutron detector, and for repairing systems with damaged neutron detectors.

    • The present disclosure relates to novel and advantageous connector assemblies for use with a liner-based assembly. In one embodiment, a connector assembly for use with a liner-based assembly can include a pressure port, a dispense port, a headspace removal port, and a locking mechanism. The pressure port can be adapted for connection to a pressure source. The dispense port can be adapted for fluid communication with a source of material to be dispensed from the liner-based assembly. The headspace removal port may be configured for removing a gas from the liner-based assembly. The locking mechanism may be used for locking the connector to the liner-based assembly when contents therein are under pressure. In some embodiments, the dispense port and headspace removal port may be operably coupled providing a flow path for recirculation of the contents within a liner of the liner-based assembly.
