    • A process for producing a toner for development of electrostatic latent images, which is composed of colored polymer particles and has a low fixing temperature, good permeability through OHP and excellent shelf stability, by subjecting a monomer composition containing at least a polymerizable monomer and a colorant to suspension polymerization in an aqueous dispersion medium containing a dispersing agent comprises at least two steps of:(1) the first step of subjecting a monomer composition for core component containing at least one monomer for core component, which is capable of forming a polymer having a glass transition temperature not higher than 80.degree. C., and a colorant to suspension polymerization in the aqueous dispersion medium until the conversion of the monomer into the polymer reaches at least 80%, thereby preparing colored polymer particles serving as the core component; and(2) the second step of adding at least one monomer for shell component, which is capable of forming a polymer having a glass transition temperature higher than that of the polymer of the core component, or a monomer composition for shell component containing said monomer, and a water-soluble radical initiator to the reaction system containing the colored polymer particles serving as the core component to conduct a polymerization reaction, thereby forming a coating layer of the polymer serving as the shell component on surfaces of the colored polymer particles serving as the core component.

    • A monomer for a shell or a mixture of at least two monomers for a shell was suspension polymerized in the presence of core particles and a polymerization initiator to obtain polymer particles, wherein said core particles are formed of a polymer obtained by polymerization of a monomer for a core or a mixture of at least two monomers for a core and containing a colorant, wherein said monomer for a shell or mixture of monomers for a shell is one which gives upon polymerization a polymer having a glass transition temperature higher than that of the polymer forming the core particle, and wherein said polymerization initiator is represented by the following formula 1: ##STR1## wherein X.sup.1, X.sup.2, X.sup.3 and X.sup.4 independently represent oxygen atom, sulfur atom, >NR (wherein R is hydrogen atom, alkyl group, or group); R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 independently represent alkyl group, aryl group, or alkyl or aryl group having at least one substituent which is --OR, --OH, --NHR, or --NR.sub.2 (wherein R is alkyl group or aryl group), and n and m independently represent an integer of 1 to 10. An outer additive was applied on the polymer particle to obtain a polymerized toner. This polymerized toner has low fixing temperature, excellent overhead projector transparency, good shelf stability, and exhibiting a less pronounced reduction in electric charge under conditions of high humidity and high temperature.

    • A circuit substrate has three wiring layers, wherein a signal line is formed in a first wiring layer; a ground plane is formed in a second wiring layer; a resonant line is formed in a third wiring layer. A circumferential slit is formed in the ground plane, wherein an island electrode separated from the ground plane is formed inside the slit. The left end of the resonant line is connected to the island electrode through an interlayer-connecting via, while the right end of the resonant line is connected to the ground plane through an interlayer-connecting via. A transmission line (or a microstrip line) is formed using the signal line and the ground plane, and therefore a complex resonator is formed to embrace the transmission line. This achieves band elimination with regard to a signal component of a resonance frequency among signals propagating through the microstrip line. Thus, it is possible to form a noise suppression structure without mounting additional parts on the circuit substrate, and therefore it is possible to effectively eliminate power distribution noise and noise propagating through the signal line with a small and simple configuration.
