摘要： A method and computing device for processing a calendar database stored at a memory device is provided. New calendar data is created comprising at least a date upon which an event is to occur. The new calendar data is stored in association with countdown reminder flag data in the calendar database. The calendar database is processed to produce countdown reminder view data comprising the new calendar data and countdown reminder data determined by processing the new calendar data and a current date. The countdown reminder view data is enabled to control a display device to produce a countdown reminder view comprising the new calendar data and the countdown reminder data, the countdown reminder view being one of a plurality of calendar views that can be produced from the calendar database. The display device is controlling via the countdown reminder view data to produce the countdown reminder view.

Time zone calendar view data is produced, the time zone calendar view data enabled to control a display device to produce a time zone calendar view comprising representations of the first set and the second set sorted according to their associated time zones, said representations displayed on a timeline adjacent to one another, with concurrent times in each of the first time zone and second time zone temporally aligned. 摘要： A method for discriminating and quantifying platelets within an analyzed blood sample involves initially diluting the blood sample with a ghosting reagent that causes a change in the index of refraction of the cell. Owing to the change in the index of refraction, light scattered from the ghosted red blood cells will be substantially reduced relative to light scattered from platelets. This results in locations of platelets within a scatterplot of the analyzed blood sample to fall within a region distinguishable from those containing normal red blood cells, fragmented red blood cells, and microcytic red blood cells.
