    • In accordance with the present disclosure, a system and method for creating and dynamically maintaining power inventories of an information handling system is presented. A system for creating and dynamically maintaining power inventories of an information handling system may include a memory and a processor. The processor may be operable to generate power inventories for the information handling system and save the power inventories in the memory. Each of the power inventories may correspond to one of the power states of the information handling system. The processor may also be operable to dynamically update each of the saved power inventories in response to changes in the information handling system.

    • A method is provided for managing errors in a virtualized information handling system that includes an error detection system and a hypervisor allowing multiple virtual machines to run on the information handling system. The hypervisor may assign at least one memory region to each of multiple virtual machines. The error detection system may detect an error, determine a physical memory address associated with the error, and report that address to the hypervisor. Additionally, the hypervisor may determine whether the memory region assigned to each virtual machine includes the physical memory address associated with the error. The hypervisor may shut down each virtual machine for which a memory region assigned to that virtual machine includes the physical memory address associated with the error, and not shut down each virtual machine for which the memory regions assigned to that virtual machine do not include the physical memory address associated with the error.

    • Methods and systems for binding a removable trusted platform module (TPM) subsystem module to an information handling system to provide a core root of trust for the information handling system without requiring soldering down or other hard and permanent (non-removable) attachment of a TPM device to the information handling system planar (e.g., motherboard). The removable TPM subsystem module may be a plug-in module that may be removed from the information handling system planar (e.g., motherboard), while at the same time maintaining the transitive chain of trust, and being capable of remotely attesting its trusted state. An information handling system platform may be provided that has the capability and flexibility of supporting multiple TPMs on the same system planar.
