    • The present invention provides a liquid applicator which enables easy application of an application liquid even if it is high in viscosity and which can protect the application liquid held therein against the contamination by microbes etc. from the external air and the outside, and includes a liquid pressing means 6 for pressurizing an application liquid 4 inside a main body 2 so as to supply the application liquid to an applying member 10 at the front end by the pressing of liquid pressing means 6, wherein the applying member 10 is made of an elastic material, has a valve structure 8 which is formed with a communication path 24 for communication between the inside and outside of main body 2 and can close the communication path 24 by elasticity in the normal condition and open the communication path 24 by elastic deformation of the communication path when the application liquid is pressurized by liquid pressing means 6, and, an ejection opening 24a of communication path 24 of valve structure 8 is arranged to front onto the applying portion 10a of the applying member 10.     • An applicator includes: a barrel cylinder; an application portion in front of the barrel cylinder; a tank placed behind the application portion for storing liquid inside the barrel cylinder; a pipe (conduit) for conducting the liquid ejected from the tank to the application portion; a piston which is fitted in the tank as to slide in the axial direction ensuring a watertight contact; and a liquid pushing device placed in the rear part of the barrel cylinder for pushing the liquid from the tank to the application portion via the pipe by moving the piston forwards. In this applicator, the bore of the pipe is set between 0.2 mm and 1.7 mm, and the viscosity of the liquid measured by the E-type viscometer within an temperature range for operation is set between 20 mpa.sec and 100,000 mpa.sec. Further, the barrel cylinder is formed of PP, and the piston is formed of HDPE or LLDPE.

    • An applicator for applying a fluid such as eye shadow. The applicator comprises a tubular core having a conduit, and a porous outer membrane arranged to cover the tip of the tubular core. The outlet of the conduit, of the tubular core is formed so that the outlet opens in the tubular core on one side of the tubular core from the longitudinal axis of the tubular core. Therefore, it is possible to apply a fluid to a surface, such a skin of a human being, by using one side of the applicator through which the fluid easily soaks, and to spread and gradate the fluid on the surface, by using the other side of the applicator. The outer membrane may be made from two or three porous sheet members having different porosities from each other, so that a fluid easily soaks through one of the porous sheet members having a relatively large porosity.

    • A liquid applicator includes: an applicator portion provided at the front end of a barrel; a barrel joint having an approximately cylindrical shape, fitted into the rear of the barrel; and a pushing mechanism having a piston for pushing the liquid, accommodated inside the barrel joint. In this pushing mechanism, as a rotary handle is turned, a threaded shaft together with a delivering member rotates so as to move itself forwards by means of screw engagement with a threaded piece fixed to the barrel joint and thereby move the piston in the same direction. A liquid contained in front of the piston is delivered toward the applicator portion, thus the applicator portion is impregnated with the liquid.
