    • In a flexible display panel and a fabricating method thereof, the flexible display panel includes a flexible substrate, a plurality of electro-phoretic pixel units, a plurality of electro-wetting pixel units, a transparent protective layer and a driving circuit. The electro-phoretic pixel units and the electro-wetting pixel units are formed in a first displaying area and a second displaying area of the flexible substrate respectively. The transparent protective layer is formed on the electro-phoretic pixel units and the electro-wetting pixel units, and the driving circuit is formed in the non-displaying area of the flexible substrate and electrically connected to the electro-phoretic pixel units and the electro-wetting pixel units. The flexible display panel may display static pictures through the electro-phoretic pixel units and display animation through the electro-wetting pixel units. Therefore, the flexible display panel has both the abilities for saving power and displaying animation.

    • A display device includes an array substrate, a display medium layer, a transparent layer and a sealant. The array substrate has a first region and a second region surrounding the first region. The display medium layer is disposed on the array substrate and located in the first region. The transparent layer with an upper surface is disposed on the display medium layer. The upper surface has a display region and a predetermined sealing region surrounding the display region. The sealant is formed on the array substrate and located in the second region. Also, the sealant surrounds the transparent layer and the display medium layer and covers the predetermined sealing region of the transparent layer. In addition, a method for fabricating the display device is also provided. Since the sealant surrounds the transparent layer and the display medium layer and covers the predetermined sealing region of the transparent layer, the packaging performance of the above display device may be improved.

    • A carrier applicable to a laser releasing process and for carrying at least a flexible display panel is provided. The flexible display panel is formed on a transparent substrate and includes a display main body and a driving circuit module connected to an edge of the display main body. The carrier includes a carrying plate having at least a carrying area for carrying the flexible display panel and a protecting cover disposed on the carrying plate and located at an edge of the carrying area. A receiving space is formed between the protecting cover and the carrying plate for receiving the driving circuit module. The protecting cover is for shielding the driving circuit module to prevent the driving circuit module from being irradiated by a laser beam in the laser releasing process. A method for manufacturing flexible display panel also is provided.

    • In an apparatus for manufacturing an electrophoretic display, the electrophoretic display includes a backside plate having a cover area and a display structure. The display structure is arranged on the backside plate and a rear surface thereof facing toward the backside plate has an area less than the cover area. The apparatus includes a main body and a pressure-supplying member. The main body includes a receiving cavity, a supporting surface and a plurality of absorption holes. The absorption holes are arranged at the bottom of the receiving cavity and each penetrates through the supporting surface. The absorption holes are configured to vacuum absorb the display structure on the supporting surface via vacuum absorption means. The pressure-supplying member is configured to apply a pressure onto the backside plate so as to stack the backside plate on the rear surface of the display structure. The present invention also provides a method for manufacturing an electrophoretic display.
