摘要： An improved p-type electrode for a p-type gallium-nitride based semiconductor material is disclosed that includes at least one layer of indium-tin-oxide. The electrode can include the indium-tin-oxide layer(s) such that at least one of the indium-tin-oxide layers is in contact with the p-type semiconductor layer. Alternatively, the electrode can further include a first electrode layer in contact with the p-type semiconductor layer. In this example, the indium-tin-oxide layer(s) is over the first electrode layer. The first electrode layer includes at least one metal selected from the group consisting of nickel oxide, molybdenum oxide, ruthenium oxide and zinc oxide, and/or at least one non-oxidizing metal.

摘要： An integrated light-emitting device includes multiple p-n diodes integrated monolithically on an insulating substrate. The p-n diodes are of monolithic semiconductor materials over the single substrate. The p-n diodes can be all light-emitting diodes or a combination of light-emitting and ESD-protection diodes. The p-n diodes may have at least one beveled sidewall to enhance light extraction out of the light-emitting diodes. A method for producing such integrated light-emitting device and a method for producing such p-n diode that includes at least one beveled sidewall are also disclosed.

摘要： A device which illuminates internal tissue and organs of a patient. The illumination member includes an array of light-emitting diodes (“LEDs”). The arrangement of the array depends on the configuration of the device and the procedure for which the device is being used. In all cases, the illumination member is used to illuminate relevant organs or structures in the body in order to increase visibility during surgical procedures. The LED array reduces the potential for inadvertent injury to internal structures for procedures located throughout the body. These procedures include those involving the reproductive organs of males and females, gastric and bariatrics, and other structures in the abdomen.

摘要： A return mailer that is adeptly suited for containing a data logger and mailing the data logger upon completion of environmental monitoring. The return mailer includes a pouch having an interior space and opening for receiving the data logger, and a detachable flap. The detachable flap includes a line of weakening for detaching the flap from the pouch, and first and second zones of adhesive disposed on opposite sides of the line of weakening. A single release liner covers both adhesive zones. Removal of the release liner exposes both zones of adhesive so that the first zone of adhesive can seal the opening of the pouch and the second zone of adhesive attaches the return mailer to an object. The pouch can be separated from the flap by tearing along the line of weakening. The pouch can then be mailed to a desired location.

The invention can activate an EM device and verify activation before dispensing the EM device. In some embodiments, the apparatus includes a controller that typically comprises a microprocessor having stored instructions. The controller can typically communicate with the EM device via the reader to activate the EM device and verify activation.
