摘要： A silver halide photographic laight-sensitive material is disclosed. The light-sensitive material comprises a support and a silver halide emulsion layer and a non-light-sensitive hydrophilic colloid layer provided on the support, wherein at least one of the silver halide emulsion layer and the non-light-sensitive hydrophilic colloid layer contains a compound represented by the following Formula 1, and the silver halide emulsion layer contains tabular silver halide grains having an average aspect ratio of not less than 2.0 account for at least 50 % of total grain projected area of the emulsion, and the tabular grains have an average silver iodide content is not more than 1 mole-%; Formula 1 R.sub.11 --(S).sub.n --R.sub.12 wherein R.sub.11 and R.sub.12 are each independently represent an aliphatic group, an aromatic group or a heterocyclic group, the groups represented by R.sub.11 and R.sub.12 may be the same or different and they may be bonded with together to form a ring; and n is an integer of from 2 to 6.
