摘要： A card handling device, which includes a card inserting aperture for inserting a card therethrough, a card reader for reading information data from an inserted card and means for carrying the card from the inserting aperture to the reader, in which there is provided a detector for detecting a deformed or curved card disposed at a position between the card inserting aperture and the card reader, whereby the deformed card is fed back through the card inserting aperture while a non-deformed card is fed to said card reader by the card carrying means.

摘要： A card processor having a diagnosis process that can be started easily. A card processor comprising a card insert port (4), card moving unit (22 to 25), detection unit (13), a card reading unit (16, 17), power switch (2), and control unit (43). This control unit (43) determines from the detection unit (13) whether a card has been inserted when the power is turned ON by the power switch (2), and when a card has been inserted, it starts diagnosis processing, and when a card has not been inserted, it proceeds to normal processing. Since it is possible to start diagnosis processing by turning ON the power and inserting a card, it is possible for diagnosis processing to be started by anyone, and not just specially trained operators and personnel.

摘要： The present invention relates to a processing apparatus and the like including an internal circuit having a CPU executing a program and an internal memory storing an internal program, and an external memory provided exteriorly of the internal circuit and storing an external program. The present invention intends to prevent the illicit interpretation and interpolation of programs and data. An internal circuit 10 mounted on an LSI 100 includes an address controller 106 monitoring whether or not an address on bus lines 111 and 112 is in a predetermined address region while a CPU 101 is executing a program stored in an external memory 20, and notifying the CPU when detecting the address in the predetermined address region.
