    • A pressure-welding type electric terminal according to the present invention is constructed such that it comprises an electrically contacting section and an electric wire connecting section which is composed of an electric wire pressure-welding section and an electric wire retaining section, wherein the electric wire pressure-welding section further comprises: a sub-plate section provided at one part of a longitudinal side of the base plate by way of a connecting portion and superposed on the base plate, which sub-plate section being integrally provided with a sub section having two consecutive elongate holes; an upright section formed with a slot therein for receiving an electric wire, which upright section being formed by vertically folding the sub section; and a pair of fixing pieces for firmly fixing the superposed sub-plate section at the front and rear sides of the upright section respectively.Since the present invention is constructed as such, even when an electric wire rather on the fat side is pressed against the wire pressure-welding section to electrically connect thereto, it will not be expandedly deformed neither forward nor backward, providing thereby a sufficient durability.

    • A sealed connector is provided which includes: an inner housing accommodating a terminal; an outer housing surrounding the inner housing; a metallic shield positioned between the inner housing and outer housing; a connecting portion connecting the inner housing and the outer housing to form a one-piece body; a shield insertion hole which is formed for communication of the interior of the sealed connector with a shield insertion space located between both inner and outer housing; and a connecting protrusion which is formed by notching at the pointed end of the metallic shield and which protrudes in the connector fitting direction through insertion of the metallic shield into the shield insertion space. The metallic shield includes a slit adjacent to the connecting protrusion and an engaging piece opposite to an engaging slot portion of the inner housing, wherein the bottom end portion of the slit contacts the connecting portion between the inner and outer housings. Each of the slits of the metallic shield accomodates the connecting protrusions of the other metallic shield which are alternately fitted into each other resulting in an elimination of the clearances when the male- and female-side sealed connectors are fitted into each other.

    • In a connector comprising: a terminal having an electrically contacting spring piece which is accommodated in a surrounding wall in such a manner that it is allowed to protrude through an opening formed in the surrounding wall; and a connector housing into which the terminal is inserted, the spring piece has an electrically contacting portion confronted with the opening, and an slide portion bent in such a manner that it is away from the opening, and the connector housing has a depressing protrusion for depressing the slide portion.     • A waterproof connector housing which directly mounts on a device includes a hood portion for fitting on a mating connector housing, an elastic seal ring provided inside the hood portion for forming a watertight seal between the waterproof connector housing and the mating connector housing, and an O-ring for forming a watertight seal for the device. The O-ring is located at the proximal end of the hood portion which is to face the device. The elastic seal ring and the O-ring are integrally formed with each other through disengagement prevention portions and connecting portions of the elastic seal ring. The disengagement prevention portions extend through the proximal end portion of the hood, and each of the connecting portions interconnect their respective disengagement prevention portions with the O-ring.
