    • A method and mechanism are disclosed for driving optical members in an optical apparatus, in which cam means formed on a lens barrel are provided with insensitive zones, so that the lens barrel is rotated to drive a diaphragm for adjustment of its diaphragm stop after the lens has been moved to the insensitive zones, then the lens barrel is rotated in the reverse direction with the diaphragm being maintained at its adjusted diaphragm stop, and thereby power variation and/or focussing of the lens as well as adjustment of the diaphragm stop are achieved using a single drive source. A cylindrical cam 40 is provided within a stationary lens barrel 30 so as to be rotatable around an optical axis S. The cylindrical cam 40 is formed with cam slits 41 each having insensitive zones 42 at longitudinally opposite ends thereof so that an enlarging lens 20 can not be further moved back and forth when lens driving pins 27 lie in these insensitive zones 42. Diaphragm driving plates 43, 44 are mounted on the inner wall of the cylindrical cam 40 so that rotation of the cylindrical cam 40 causes these diaphragm driving plates 43, 44 to drive the diaphragm driving pin 24 while the lens driving pins 27 lie in the insensitive zones 42 and thereby to vary a diaphragm stop of an iris diaphragm 22. Once the diaphragm stop has been varied, the cylindrical cam 40 is rotated in the reverse direction to move the enlarging lens 20 to a desired position for desired power variation and/or focussing.

    • The image processing apparatus includes an image processing section for executing at least one image processing operation with respect to digital image data and a set value chancing device for selecting a plurality of image processing conditions as to said at least one image processing operation from among plural levels or plural combinations which are typically preset of image processing conditions, and changing set values of the plurality of image processing conditions from previously set values into the selected plurality of image processing conditions. The customized printing system includes the image processing apparatus, an image input apparatus and an image output apparatus.     • An exposure head for use in an image recording apparatus records a two-dimensional image on a photosensitive medium by scanning the photosensitive medium with light beams modulated by image information in a main scanning direction while the photosensitive medium is being moved in an auxiliary direction transverse to the main scanning direction. The exposure head has a light source for emitting the light beams, and an aperture member disposed between the light source and the photosensitive medium and having a plurality of apertures defined therein for passing the light beams respectively therethrough, each of the apertures being shorter in the main scanning direction and longer in the auxiliary scanning direction. Each of the apertures has a width smaller than that of a corresponding one of light-emitting areas of the light source. The light source comprises a plurality of light-emitting devices for emitting the light beams, respectively, and a light-shielding member is disposed between adjacent two of the light sources. Each of the apertures is progressively tapered from one of the light sources toward the photosensitive medium. Alternatively, a plurality of optical filters may be positioned respectively over open ends of the apertures closer to the photosensitive medium for selectively passing the light beams of respective wavelengths emitted from the light sources aligned respectively with the apertures.
