摘要： A camera which can receive an accessory for performing a data printing operation on a film surface and can execute data communication with the accessory is disclosed. The camera has a means for identifying whether or not communication is attained between the camera and the accessory and a means for transmitting a printing signal for causing the accessory to start the data printing operation from the camera to the accessory within a predetermined period of time. The transmission means changes a transmission time of the printing signal in accordance with the identification result of the identification means.

摘要： An accessory which is mountable on a camera having film frame count data communication capability, and which can print film frame count data on a film surface comprises a detector for detecting a photographing signal generated with each photographing operation of the camera, a data reception device for receiving film frame count data from the camera by communication with the camera; and a storage device for storing film frame count data based on film frame count data received from the camera. When the detector detects the photographing signal, the storage device increments film frame count data stored therein by a value corresponding to one frame, and when the data reception device receives film frame count data from the camera, the storage device stores the received film frame count data in place of the film frame count data presently stored therein.

An output derived from detector for detecting the trailing end of a film is delivered to controller which controls the arithmetic operation for obtaining an optimum exposure value as well as the bracketing exposure so that in response to the above-stated output, the controller inhibits the shutter release after the end of the film, but maintains the bracketing exposure mode. Furthermore, the remaining exposures of a predetermined number of exposures in the bracketing exposure mode are cancelled at the end of the film.
