摘要： Disclosed is a display holding device which retains one or more displays in such a way that they move laterally and smoothly. The display holding device, which is installed between at least one display and a supporting body supporting the display, includes (1) a guide mechanism secured to the supporting body, and (2) at least one holding mechanism for transmitting, to the guide mechanism, a moment due to weight of the display, and being secured to the display. In addition, the guide mechanism includes (a) a guide portion spanning laterally, and (b) a stopper placed along the guide portion. The holding mechanism includes (c) a slider mating with the guide portion in a slidable manner, and (d) a contact portion facing the stopper. The stopper blocks the contact portion from being displaced in the direction of the moment, and allows it to be displaced in the opposite direction.

摘要： A fixing device includes a substantially cylindrical metal member, a heater, an endless, flexible fixing member, a rotary pressing member, and a stationary member. The heater heats the metal member. The fixing member is disposed rotatable around the metal member. An inner circumferential surface of the fixing member is heated by the metal member to heat and fix a toner image. The rotary pressing member is disposed opposite the metal member and pressed against an outer circumferential surface of the fixing member to form a nip between the rotary pressing member and the fixing member through which a recording medium bearing the toner image passes. The stationary member is disposed in pressure contact with the inner circumferential surface of the fixing member, and has an opposing face opposing the rotary pressing member and having a curvature smaller than a curvature of the rotary pressing member.

摘要： In a fixing device, a nip formation member is provided inside a loop formed by a fixing member rotating in a predetermined direction of rotation. A pressing member is pressed against the nip formation member via the fixing member to form a nip between the fixing member and the pressing member through which a recording medium bearing a toner image passes. The fixing member and the pressing member rotate and convey the recording medium bearing the toner image through the nip. The heat conduction member faces an inner circumferential surface of the fixing member to guide the fixing member sliding over the heat conduction member and to transmit heat to the fixing member. The heat conduction member includes a plurality of convex portions provided on an outer circumferential surface of the heat conduction member and contacting the inner circumferential surface of the fixing member.
