摘要： An image forming apparatus which makes it possible to resolve correction error of potential unevenness caused by insufficient mounting accuracy of an image carrier, in a relatively short time period without performing a conventional operation for removing the image carrier. The image forming apparatus includes a photosensitive drum, an exposure unit, an electrical potential sensor, a shading data ROM, and a CPU. Electrical potential data items associated with respective positions on the surface of the photosensitive drum are stored in the shading data ROM. The CPU corrects an exposure amount onto the photosensitive drum by the exposure unit, based on the electrical potential data read from the ROM, and based on the result of correction, adjusts timing for reading out the data.

Thereafter, a Styrofoam product (1) is produced by adding boric acid-based inorganic materials to the pre-formed beads and conducting a main expansion treatment. The surface of each foamed styrene bead (2) of the Styrofoam product (1) is covered by a coating film (3). If exposed to fire, the coating films (3) suppress burning of the styrene beads (2). In case a great quantity of heat is applied, the vitreous coats into which the coating films (3) have changed to prevent the styrene beads (2) from burning deeper. As the vitreous coats absorb black smoke, generation of black smoke is prevented.
