摘要： The TFT substrate includes a conductive region electrically conducted to the transparent conductive film and a terminal region, on a first side not covered with the counter substrate. The terminal region includes a ground terminal connected to the conductive region and an adjacent terminal which is adjacent to the ground terminal and supplies signals or power source to the peripheral circuit. The adjacent terminal is connected to the peripheral circuit through a first wiring installed along a third side of the TFT substrate toward a second side facing the first side. The first wiring is extended to a middle point of the third side and then connected to the peripheral circuit.

摘要： The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device which mounts a back-surface conductive film on one substrate, wherein a reference potential is surely supplied to the back-surface conductive film. The liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and liquid crystal sandwiched between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the second substrate includes a back-surface conductive film on a surface thereof opposite to the liquid crystal, and the first substrate includes a pad electrode which is formed on the first substrate and is electrically connected with the back-surface conductive film via a conductive member, a conductive film which is formed on the first substrate and below the pad electrode, a first connection line which connects the conductive film and a reference voltage terminal, and at least one contact hole which connects the pad electrode and the conductive film. The conductive film of the first substrate is formed of a metal film or a transparent conductive film.

The liquid crystal display device includes pixels arranged in a matrix in a display region above a substrate, a thin film layer formed in a non-display region excluding the display region, and a transparent insulating film extending from the display region to the non-display region and formed on the thin film layer, in which the transparent insulating film includes at least an organic insulating film formed of an organic compound for planarizing a surface of the substrate, an inorganic insulating film which is a thin film formed on the organic insulating film and formed of an inorganic compound and formed with an opening extending to the organic insulating film in a region above the thin film layer, and a transparent electrode layer which is formed in the opening of the inorganic insulating film to cover the organic insulating film exposed from the opening of the inorganic insulating film.
