摘要： Provided is a display device, including: a light shielding film including a plurality of fixed apertures, each allowing passage of light; a lens arranged above the plurality of fixed apertures; a plurality of shutters, which are arranged between the light shielding film and the lens and correspond to the plurality of fixed apertures, respectively, for controlling passage and blocking of the light; and a drive portion for driving each of the plurality of shutters to move between a position above each of the plurality of fixed apertures and a position retracted from each of the plurality of fixed apertures. The plurality of fixed apertures each have an elongated shape including a long-side direction and a short-side direction. The lens has a light refractive power that is larger in the short-side direction than in the long-side direction.

摘要： A display device includes an aperture substrate including a plurality of openings arranged in a matrix form and a plurality of shutter parts that are arranged between a first substrate and a second substrate correspondingly to the openings. The plurality of shutter parts move in a horizontal direction relative to the aperture substrate so as to control an amount of light emitted from the plurality of openings. Also, the display device includes a liquid holding wall configured to hold a liquid between the first substrate and the second substrate and is arranged to surround a display area including the plurality of shutter parts, and includes at least one bubble holding part configured to hold a bubble that is generated in the liquid and is guided to the at least one bubble holding part. The at least one bubble holding part is provided as a part of the liquid holding wall.

摘要： This disclosure provides novel latching circuits, and pixel circuits and display devices that include such latching circuits. The latches herein include a switch positioned on an inverter coupling interconnect which couples two cross-coupled inverters of the latch. The switch is configured to control a passage of a current between the first and second inverters. By switching the switch OFF at a time a data voltage is transferred to the inverters, any leak current between the inverters can be interrupted. As a result, a malfunctioning of the data latch is prevented.

摘要： This disclosure provides novel latching circuits, and pixel circuits and display devices that include such latching circuits. The latches herein include a switch positioned on an inverter coupling interconnect which couples two cross-coupled inverters of the latch. The switch is configured to control a passage of a current between the first and second inverters. By switching the switch OFF at a time a data voltage is transferred to the inverters, any leak current between the inverters can be interrupted. As a result, a malfunctioning of the data latch is prevented.

Each of the plurality of pixels includes a self light-emitting element and a driving transistor configured to drive the self light-emitting element based on an inputted image voltage. The image display device also includes a current source configured to supply a constant current to the driving transistor and a detection section connected to a source electrode of a driving transistor of each of the plurality of pixels. The current source is connected to the source electrode of the driving transistor. The detection section detects a source voltage of the driving transistor to which the constant current is supplied during a detection period.
