    • A projector 100 projects an image onto a screen 200 by having light from a light source 111 pass through light valves 108˜110 corresponding to RGB colors and a projection lens 101. A special pattern is displayed on the light valves 108˜110 so that an image of the special pattern is projected onto the screen 200. The projector includes a half mirror 112 that directs light, which has been reflected back off this image on the screen 200 and back through the light valves 108˜110, toward the collective lens 113, and a light detecting element 114 for detecting the intensity of the light collected by the collective lens 113. Based on the detected intensity, the microcomputer 116 automatically adjusts the projection parameters of the projector 100.

    • A projector that can be easily set up and adjusted is disclosed. In accordance with a projection condition inputted into a microcomputer via a remote-controller, the microcomputer selects an optimum projection lens by referring to correlation data showing a relation among a projection lens, a projection display size, and an optimum projection distance. The microcomputer has a screen to indicate an optimum projection lens and projection distance that satisfy the inputted projection condition. The microcomputer calculates the amounts of zoom and focus adjustments to be made to the projection lens with reference to the correlation data so as to attain the projection display size and the microcomputer automatically drives the projection lens via a zoom driving unit and a focus driving unit.

A first signal converter is for converting the NTSC standard television signals into first quasi-high-definition television signals identifying a first displayed image corresponding in vertical length to a vertical length of the high-definition display screen device. A second signal converter is for converting the NTSC standard television signals into second quasi-high-definition television signals identifying a second displayed image corresponding in horizontal length to a horizontal length of the high-definition display screen device.     • The natural rubber of the present invention is natural rubber obtained by leaving standing for a prescribed period of time a hydrous coagulum obtained from a natural rubber latex to which a preservative is added and/or from a coagulum of a natural rubber latex to which a preservative is added and drying it. The natural rubber coagulum is inhibited from being changed in a molecular weight even in a standing step (aging) in a high moisture condition, whereby the natural rubber having stable mechanical properties is obtained. An isothiazoline base compound is used for the preservative. Further, a rubber composition containing the natural rubber is prepared, and a tire is produced by using the rubber composition.
