    • A telecommunications closure (10) comprising cables (46), a cover (20), an interior frame (30), the frame (30) holding telecommunications equipment (32), and a seal block (40) sealing the cover (20) closed relative to one or more cables (46) which enter the closure (10). The frame (30) defines a plurality of clamp assembly holders (36). A plurality of clamp assemblies (60, 160, 260) are provided, each clamp assembly (60, 160, 260) for holding a cable including a jacket (48), interior optical fibers (52), and at least one interior strength member (50). Each clamp assembly (60, 160, 260) includes a jacket clamp assembly (64, 164, 264) moveable relative to the frame, and including a wrap (68) which mounts around the jacket, and a strength member clamp assembly (80, 180, 280) moveable relative to the frame. The wrap (68) wraps around the jacket (48) and is adjustable for different jacket diameters. The strength member clamp assembly (80, 180, 280) is mountable in a plurality of positions relative to the jacket clamp assembly (64, 164, 264) to account for variations in the relative location of the strength member relative to the jacket clamp assembly. The clamp assembly (60, 160, 260) is moveable relative to the frame (30) wherein the cable (46) is allowed to move to a proper position relative to the seal block (40) so as to reduce the likelihood of a leak by being centrally positioned relative to the cable opening through the seal block.

    • An apparatus (10) for mounting blown fiber tubes (20) includes a main housing (40) mountable to an end (32) of a flex tube (30), an outer ring (50) positioned at an end (42) of the main housing (40), and an inner ring (60) positioned adjacent to and within the outer ring (50) wherein the blown fiber tubes (20) are positioned about an outer periphery (62) of the inner ring (60). In one embodiment, portions (64) of the inner ring (60) separate during activation and press against the blown fiber tubes (20) to compress the blown fiber tubes (20) against the outer ring (50). A spring (496) may be added to push on the inner ring (60). Anti-rotation and lock features are provided for the compression, sealing and fixation mechanisms.

    • The present invention relates to a cable sealing and retaining device capable of sealingly guiding and retaining a cable through an opening of the cable sealing and retaining device. The present invention provides an improved cable sealing and retaining device which allows a simple releasable fixation of a cable to the cable sealing and retaining device while the cable is sealingly guided through an opening provided with the cable sealing and retaining device. The cable sealing and retaining device (40;60) comprises a sealing part (11) providing a passageway with an inner seal (14) through which a cable (2) is sealingly guidable, and an outer seal (15) arranged on an outer circumference of the sealing part (11). The cable sealing and retaining device (40; 60) comprises a fixation part (12) for retaining the sealing part (11) in longitudinal direction of the passageway; and a sleeve portion (47; 67) forming an opening (41; 61) for receiving the fixation part (12) and the sealing part (11) of the cable sealing and retaining device (40; 60). The sleeve portion (47; 67) provides a sealing section (42; 62) for co-operating with the outer seal (15) to perform a sealing therebetween. The cable sealing and retaining device (40; 60) is characterized by the fixation part (12) which provides fixation means (24) on its outer circumferential surface to fix the fixation part (12) to the sleeve portion (47; 67).
