摘要： In accordance with an embodiment, an inkjet head comprises a plurality of first driving elements, a plurality of second driving elements, a common liquid chamber and a controller. A plurality of the first driving elements constitutes a plurality of first pressure chambers respectively communicating with a plurality of first integrated nozzles. A plurality of the second driving elements constitutes a plurality of second pressure chambers respectively communicating with a plurality of second integrated nozzles. The common liquid chamber communicates with a plurality of the first pressure chambers and a plurality of the second pressure chambers. The controller applies an ejection pulse to the first driving element and at least one non-ejection pulse to the second driving element before an end timing of the ejection pulse.

The driving signal includes, in order, a first negative voltage over a first period having a predetermined length, a first positive voltage followed by a zero voltage over a second period having the same length, a second positive voltage over a third period having the same length, the zero voltage followed by a second negative voltage over a fourth period having the same length, and the zero voltage over a fifth period having the same length. The predetermined length is a half of an inherent vibration cycle of ink that is within the pressure chamber.

摘要： An inkjet head includes a pressure chamber in which ink is stored, a nozzle plate including a nozzle which connects with the pressure chamber, an actuator configured to change a volume of the pressure chamber, and a drive circuit. The drive circuit, before a printing is performed, outputs, to the actuator for a first time period, a first signal for changing the volume of the pressure chamber without ejecting ink from the nozzle. A second signal for changing the volume of the pressure chamber is then output to the actuator for a second time period such that ink is ejected from the nozzle. A third signal for changing the volume of the pressure chamber to the extent that the ink is not ejected from the nozzle is then output to the actuator for a third time period.

摘要： A liquid discharge head includes first and second actuators and a drive circuit. Each of the first and second actuators is configured to expand and contract first and second pressure chambers, respectively. The drive circuit is configured to, during a dot formation cycle apply a first number of discharge pulses to the first actuator to cause the first number of droplets to be discharged from the first pressure chamber and apply a second number of discharge pulses to the second actuator to cause the second number of droplets to be discharged from the second pressure chamber and apply a third number of precursors to the second actuator. The first number is greater than or equal to two. Each of the second and third numbers is greater than or equal to one. A sum of the second and third numbers is less than or equal to the first number.
