    • A computer-implementable method, system and computer media are presented for allowing a user to change a first type of Drag-and-Drop (DnD) operation into a second type of DnD operation. In one embodiment, the computer-implementable method includes the steps of: detecting a first type of DnD operation in which a cursor is dragging a copy of an original file icon across a Graphical User Interface (GUI); detecting the cursor dragging the copy of the original file icon across a location, on the GUI, at which the original file icon was positioned when the first type of DnD operation was initiated; and in response to detecting the cursor dragging the copy of the original file icon across the location at which the original file icon was initially positioned, converting the first type of DnD operation into a second type of DnD operation.

    • Improved spin-bonding apparatus is disclosed for connecting a synthetic plastic end closure member to a composite container body wall, including an axially displaceable spinner member that is operable to an axially extended position in which it is rotated relative to the stationary mandrel by the rotatably driven spindle when the mandrel and spindle are in an initial axially spaced condition. The spinner member continuously supports the inner periphery of the sealing fin as the mandrel and spindle are displaced axially together toward their adjacent spin-bonding condition, whereby the sealing fin is protectively supported prior to positive spin bonding thereof to the synthetic plastic inner liner of the container body wall. The stationary mandrel is provided at its free end with a unitary sizing portion having a closely toleranced cylindrical surface for causing the free extremity of the container body wall to have a circular configuration. The spinner member is provided with an annular lead-in ridge at its end adjacent the stationary mandrel, thereby to further protect the free end of the sealing fin during axial displacement of the mandrels.

    • The present invention provides a method, system and computer program product for improved display of host terminal applications on data processing systems having a small display size. In one embodiment, a host application translator reads characters stored in a character buffer and character attributes stored in an attribute buffer of a computer host terminal application that is displayed to a user as lines of characters. The host application translator performs component recognition on the characters and the character attributes to identify essential characters. Essential characters are characters that are required to be displayed to a user for the user to be able to interact with the computer host terminal application. The host application translator generates hypertext markup language code (HTML) for reconfiguring the characters for display on a portable data processing system having a small display size.
