    • An interface system capable of minimizing an electro magnetic interference. The interface system may be constructed with a serializer for receiving a first data and second data having a plurality of bits from an external device and sequentially outputting bits of the received first data and second data; a transmission circuit including a decoder for converting two bits supplied from the serializer into three bits, a driver for controlling a flow of electric currents to correspond to the three bits and a transmission resistor to which a voltage is applied to correspond to the flow of the electric currents; a reception circuit including a reception resistor for receiving a voltage supplied the transmission resistor, amplifiers for amplifying a voltage applied to both ends of the reception resistor, comparators for recovering the three bits and an encoder for recovering the two bits using the three bit by comparing the voltage supplied to the amplifiers; a deserializer for recovering the first data and the second data while sequentially storing the two bits supplied from the reception circuit; and stabilization circuits for controlling the transmission circuit.

    • A high-efficiency, compact color illuminating system and a projection type image display apparatus using the color illuminating system are provided. The color illuminating system includes a light source, a spiral lens disc that periodically scrolls light by rotational movement, and an optical unit that isolates light beams of different wavelengths from white light emitted from the light source and guides the isolated light beams to enter at least two effective regions of the spiral lens disc. The projection type image display apparatus includes the color illuminating system, an image forming unit that generates images using scrolling light from the spiral lens disc, and a projection lens unit that enlarges and projects the images formed by the image forming unit on a screen.

    • An illumination system designed to remove laser speckle and a projection system including the same. The illumination system includes a laser light source having at least one laser, a diffractive optical element to divide a laser beam emitted from the laser light source into a plurality of sub-beams and to periodically move in such a way as to temporally average the speckle of the laser beam, and an optical fiber bundle including a plurality of fibers with the same length to divide the sub-beams into smaller sub-beams. The illumination system divides the laser beam emitted from the laser light source into sub-beams and temporally or spatially averages the sub-beams, thereby effectively reducing or removing laser speckle. The projection system employing the illumination system can provide improved image quality.
