摘要： A fluid dispensing device includes an electrostatic discharge protection system. Accumulation and discharge of electrostatic energy created by operation of the device is reduced or prevented by the electrostatic discharge protection system without an earth ground connection. The electrostatic discharge protection system may include a number of features, such as a static wick, non-conductive components that electrically isolate the spray tip of the device, nonconductive isolation barriers, nonconductive fluid reservoir and suction tube components, a nonconductive coating of a control valve component, and a nonconductive spring retainer of the control valve.

In one preferred embodiment an engine exhaust valve is opened about maximum at 25 degrees prior to top deadcenter position of the engine piston during its compression stroke.

摘要： Pressure relief valves may be used in conjunction with a small compressor in an air-assisted airless paint sprayer. The basic valve construction is industry standard spring-loaded poppet technology in an outer housing. The spring is preloaded to result in the valve venting the pressurized system to atmosphere at a desired pressure. The poppet valve 10 has a new geometry of the top or head 12 of the poppet 10. The poppet head 12 diameter is significantly larger than that used in the prior art designs and in the preferred embodiment is about twice the diameter of the seating surface.

摘要： A low oil sensor especially for application with an internal combustion engine is provided with an over-center spring and diaphragm structure to maintain the sensor in the inactivated mode whenever there is an adequate oil level in an engine sump. Crankcase pulse pressures provide an adequate pressure differential across the diaphragm to move the switch to activate an indicator circuit and to stop the engine. Inadvertent switch operation is prevented by utilization of a check valve and bleed port arrangement. The switch can be reset by an externally operable reset plunger.

摘要： The spindle of a machine tool has a drawbar disposed therein for threaded engagement into and out of the toolholder inserted into the spindle bore to releaseably secure the toolholder within the spindle. Splined on the rearward end of the drawbar distal from the spindle is a spur gear which is shiftable into and out of engagement with a cluster gear driven by the spindle drive motor. When the spur gear on the rearward drawbar end is shifted into engagement with the cluster gear driven by the spindle drive motor, the drawbar will be rotatably threaded either into or out of the toolholder shank by the spindle drive motor and thus, the need for a separate motor to rotatably drive the drawbar is eliminated.
