A neck, spine and spinal cord support device of a semi-rigid material is removably insertable in the pocket of the blanket body and secured within the blanket by the pocket so as to maintain the support device in a substantially fixed position within the blanket body. The support device supports the head, neck, spine and spinal cord of a newborn baby or infant when the infant is laid on the blanket body in a supine position and wrapped in the blanket body, so as to inhibit injury to the infant's head, neck, spine and spinal cord while carried by a person.

摘要： An infant support pad assembly has a body of resilient material, a generally planar bottom surface and a top surface that is inclined relative to the bottom surface between a proximal end and a distal end of the body such that the infant is in an inclined position when placed on the body. The top surface has an opening in a distal portion of the body and curved surface configured to receive and support at least a portion of an infant's head. The support pad assembly also has a pair of raised side members on either side of the top surface configured to generally maintain the infant on the body and inhibit movement of the infant out of the body. 摘要： A system and method for alerting to collision threats between recreational objects and locating recreational objects. The system helps a first and a second recreational object avoid collisions in recreational settings and also identifies the location of the first recreational object in emergency situations. The system utilizes wireless communication between the recreational objects to generate a collision alert that indicates a collision threat. A transponder, which integrates into the first recreational object, exchanges radio signals with a transmitter and a receiver integrated into the second recreational object. A processor interprets the strength and position of the communications to determine a potential collision threat. A controller generates a collision alert at the transponder when the collision threat is imminent. The transponder also emits an emergency signal from the first recreational object to a GPS enabled receiver or radio for indicating the location and emergency communications to the second recreational object.
