摘要： One-piece garter spring coupling release tool. The release tool is molded in a single selectively configured shape out of a durable, flexible plastic material such as Elastollan.TM. S98A available from Elastogran of Germany. The release tool generally comprises a cylindrical body with a slot along its length and a flange on one end. The slot permits the tool to be positioned around a port to which a garter spring coupling is connected; the flange provides an area for gripping the tool to releasably engage the tool with its coupling. The flexible, slotted configuration of the garter spring coupling release tool permits nesting of a four-piece set of such tools within each other to facilitate packaging, storage and retention of the tools as a set.

摘要： Audio cables used in deploying audio equipment are typically selected to minimize signal transmission losses and may be chosen based on a distance between, and terminations of, an amplifier system and a loudspeaker system. Since this is usually unknown prior to deployment, multiple audio cables with different sizes and terminations and a variety of electrical extension cords to connect to a power supply line are transported. A loudspeaker adapter for the loudspeaker system and an amplifier adapter for the amplifier system can be used to interconnect the two systems via electrical extension cords. This precludes the need for transporting a large number of audio cables, and allows for interconnecting the loudspeaker and the amplifier systems without prior knowledge of the distance between the systems. Safety hazards and component damage can also be minimized by not connecting a hot terminal in the AC connectors of the loudspeaker and amplifier adapters.

摘要： A method of delivery of active substances to a water-filled environment, specifically a toilet bowl, with a water-soluble polymer as the primary delivery means. The present invention is activated by placement in the water, with the soluble polymer protecting the skin from exposure to the active ingredients. The soluble polymer is composed of a bi-layer capsule or tablet, preferably, with a solid, gas, gel, or liquid core. Alkali metal particles embedded in an interior layer of the capsule or tablet react with water once an exterior layer has dissolved. The alkali metal particles elevate water temperature, especially locally to the interior layer, and volatilize active substances contained within the interior layer. The active substances are preferably deodorants. Alternatively, capsule or tablet is covered with a non-water-soluble final coating layer so that if the present invention is stored or delivered in an aqueous solution, the active substances will not be delivered until desired. The final coating layer can be breached with physical, temperature, pH changes, or otherwise as conventionally designed and available.

摘要： A video processing method and system for generating a foveated video display with sections having different resolutions uses a network channel for communicating video images having video sections of different resolutions, and includes a video transmission system for processing and transmitting the received video images over the network channel. The system assigns a larger portion of the network channel's bandwidth to a video section with higher resolution. Further, the system includes a video receiving system for receiving and seamlessly combining the first and second video sections of different resolutions to form an output video image on a display device, and a control unit for sending one or more video control parameters to the video transmission system to control capturing, transmitting and processing of the video images.
