    • A printed circuit board (PCB) is flat, providing a top side and a bottom side. A plurality of terminations is disposed on the top side in proximity to one end face of the PCB. Each termination has at least one contact that is connected to a respective conductor track of the PCB. The respective conductor track is connected to a respective local coil or to a contact disposed on the top side or the bottom side of a respective further termination. The local coil and/or at least one of the further terminations are disposed in proximity to the other end face. A basic shield impervious to frequencies in a magnetic resonance range is disposed on the top side and/or the bottom side, and an auxiliary shield electrically connected to the basic shield and impervious to frequencies in the magnetic resonance range is disposed on narrow sides of the PCB.

    • The invention relates to a leakproof protection device for a high voltage cable splice. The device comprises two elements that are prefabricated in a factory. The element comprises a copper tube in the form of a first cylindrical segment which matches the diameter of a cable that is to be spliced, a second cylindrical segment of a diameter that matches a splice body, and an interconnecting conical segment. A preformed insulating covering covers the metal tube in part and is secured thereto. The second element also has a copper tube and a preformed insulating element of synthetic material. The two elements are assembled together in leakproof by welding together the ends of the two tubes and by coupling together their coverings.

    • In order to increase the speed at which a user of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system may electrically or optically connect and physically attach a spine coil unit to the MRI system, the spine coil unit includes a connector extending away from a side of a spine coil housing. The spine coil unit is positioned on a patient table of the MRI system and moved along the patient table of the MRI system adjacent to or in physical contact with a corresponding MRI system-side connector. A lever rotatably attached to the spine coil housing may be rotated into a corresponding recess in the MRI system to physically attach and electrically or optically connect the connector of the spine coil housing and/or to positionally fix the spine coil housing relative to the MRI system-side connector.
