摘要： Disclosed herein is a pivoting mechanism for a stand which is supported for pivotal motion on a rear face of an apparatus body, including: a body side secured section secured to said apparatus body; a stand side secured section secured to said stand; a pivot shaft configured to connect said body side secured section and said stand side secured section to each other and serving as a fulcrum for the pivotal motion of said stand with respect to said apparatus body; a spring member configured to provide pivoting force to said stand in a direction in which an end portion of said stand approaches a lower end portion of said apparatus body; and a pivoting angle changing lever configured to change the pivotal motion permitting angle of said stand with respect to said apparatus body in response to an operation position thereof.
