    • The resin composition of the invention is a composition which includes 100 parts by weight of a polyethylene resin (A) and 2 to 5,000 parts by weight of a linear ethylene/a-olefin random copolymer (B) which includes ethylene and an a-olefin of 6 to 20 carbon atoms, wherein the polyethylene resin (A) has (a) MFR (ASTM D 1238, 190° C., load of 2.16 kg) of 0.1 to 200 g/10 min and (b) a density of 0.901 to 0.970 g/cm3; and the copolymer (B) has (a) a density of 0.870 to 0.900 g/cm3, (b) an intrinsic viscosity (&eegr;), as measured in decalin at 135° C., of 0.3 to 3.0 dl/g, (c) a glass transition temperature (Tg) of not higher than −50° C., (d) a crystallinity, as measured by X-ray diffractometry, of less than 40%, (e) a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn), as measured by GPC, of not more than 3.0, (f) a B value, as determined by the 13C-NMR spectrum and a specific equation, of 1.0 to 1.4, and (g) a ratio g&eegr;* of more than 0.95 (g&eegr;*=(&eegr;)/(&eegr;)blank/ (&eegr;): intrinsic viscosity of this copolymer determined in the property (b), (&eegr;)blank: intrinsic viscosity of a linear ethylene/propylene copolymer having the same weight-average molecular weight (measured by a light scattering method) as this copolymer and having an ethylene content of 70% by mol). This resin composition can provide molded products of excellent pliability and tensile properties.

    • Disclosed are a polypropylene composition comprising 95-55 parts by weight of polypropylene (A) and 5-45 parts by weight of an ethylene/1-butene random copolymer (B-1) which contains constituent units derived from 1-butene in an amount of 15 to 25% by mol; and a polypropylene composition comprising 95-55 parts by weight of polypropylene (A) and 5-45 parts by weight of an ethylene/1-octene random copolymer (B-2) which contains constituent units derived from 1-octene in an amount of 8 to 20% by mol. Each of the random copolymers (B-1) and (B-2) has an intrinsic viscosity [.eta.] of 1.5 to 3.5 dl/g as measured in decalin, a glass transition temperature (Tg) of not higher than -50.degree. C., a crystallinity of less than 20% as measured by X-ray diffractometry, a randomness parameter (B value) of 1.0 to 1.4 as measured by .sup.13 C-NMR spectroscopy. With respect to a melting point as measured by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) as the main peak, the copolymer (B-1) has a value of not higher than 60.degree. C., while the copolymer (B-2) has a value of not higher than 80.degree. C.

    • The polyamide resin composition of the present invention comprises 100 parts by weight of a polyamide resin and 5 to 200 parts by weight of a graft-modified ethylene/1-butene random copolymer having a graft quantity of an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative of 0.01 to 10% by weight. The graft-modified ethylene/1-butene random copolymer is a graft-modified product of an ethylene/1-butene random copolymer having a 1-butene content of 15 to 25% by mol, an intrinsic viscosity [.eta.] of 0.5 to 3.5 dl/g, a glass transition temperature (Tg) of not higher than -60.degree. C., a crystallinity of less than 10%, and a parameter (B value) indicating randomness of a copolymerized monomer chain distribution, as measured by a .sup.13 C-NMR method, of 1.0 to 1.4. The polyamide resin composition shows high melt flowability, namely, good moldability, and it can provide a molded article excellent in flexibility, low-temperature impact resistance, resistance to water absorption and resistance to saline solutions.
