    • An electroluminescent light-emitting device having a light-emitting surface area and including (a) an electroluminescent light-emitting layer containing an electroluminescent material, and (b) an electrode layer formed on one of opposite sides of the electroluminescent light-emitting layer and including a first electrode and a second electrode which are formed in respective predetermined patterns such that the two electrodes are spaced apart from each other by spacing regions provided therebetween, in a direction parallel to a plane of the electrode layer, and such that the two electrodes are electrically insulated from each other by the spacing regions. The electroluminescent light-emitting device has an exposed surface which is located on the other side of the electroluminescent light-emitting layer and to which an electrically conductive ink is applicable.

    • An electroluminescent lamp conductive layer structure for contacting with a connector. The structure includes first side and second side conductive layers. The first-side conductive layer extends on an isolation layer structure over an electrode so as to be electrically isolated from the electrode by the isolation layer. The first-side conductive layer has a first contact portion which contacts the connector. The first contact portion extends over a first region of a leveled portion of the isolation layered structure. The second-side conductive layer is electrically connected to the electrode. The second-side conductive layer is spaced from the first-side conductive layer. The second-side conductive layer has a second contact portion which contacts the connector. The second contact portion extends over a second region of the same leveled portion of the isolation layer so that at least the first and second contact portions have the same level as each other. The respective layered structures between the substrate and the contact portions are identical.

    • This approach generally pertains to a miniature terminal receptacle (10) with a connection section (12) and a mating section (14). The mating section has a pseudo- two-beam component that includes a contact spring (20) having a stationary beam, a resilient contact beam (24) and a beam overlapping section (26). The resilient contact beam has a contact bump (40) and a stiffening section (30) with a pivotal point (38). The shape of the contact spring increases the contact engagement or holding force on a male pin during mating. Overstress protection of the contact spring is provided and the terminal is economical to produce.
