    • A movement control system useful for an apparatus comprising a movable member movable between two positions, a motor and a sensor device for producing an output value which changes during the movement of the movable member. The control system drives the motor in a first amount so as to move the movable member from one of the two positions to the other position and thereafter drives the motor in a second amount to move the movable member toward said one position when the output value of the sensor device remains unchanged. When the sensor device produces a changed output value, the system drives the motor in a third amount to move the movable member toward said one position. Subsequently, the system drives the motor in a fourth amount when the output value of the sensor device is different from the output value before the motor is driven in the first amount, so as to move the movable member toward said other position. The system drives the motor in the second amount when the output values are the same so as to move the movable member toward said one position.

    • A surveillance camera comprising an image capturing portion having a rotational drive portion for rotatingly driving an image capturing lens about a pan axis and an initial position sensor providing a reference to the pan angle of the image capturing lens, a base for the image capturing portion to be attached thereto with the pan axis positioned toward a changeable direction, a controller electrically connected to the drive portion and the initial position sensor, and restrictive portion for mechanically restricting the permissible pan angle of the image capturing lens to different angles in accordance with the direction of the image capturing portion as attached to the base. The controller detects the direction of the image capturing portion as attached to the base based on the angle of rotation of the drive portion and the position of the initial position sensor.

    • The present invention provides an integrated antenna with an identical ground member, in which the interference between the adjacent antennas can be suppressed while the antenna is miniaturized in not only the width direction but also the height direction. In the integrated antenna with the identical ground member, plural antenna elements having two different resonance frequency bands are disposed in an identical ground member. Each antenna element includes a first radiation portion corresponding to one of the resonance frequency bands and a second radiation portion corresponding to the other resonance frequency band. At a point where the two antenna elements are adjacent to each other, a dielectric material is disposed in one of radiation portions located inside the antenna element such that the dielectric material contacts the radiation portion.
