    • An electric power steering device includes: a worm shaft including a first end portion and a second end portion; a worm wheel; a joint; and an urging member. The first end portion includes: a first tubular portion; a diameter enlargement permission portion to allow enlargement of a diameter of the first tubular portion; and an external teeth portion. The joint includes: a second tubular portion; and an internal teeth portion capable of engaging the external teeth portion. The electric power steering device further includes a diameter enlargement member which is arranged in the first tubular portion and which enlarges a part of the first tubular portion in an axial direction thereof to press the internal teeth portion toward the external teeth portion.

    • A pneumatic actuator for use in a vibration damping device comprising: a base housing; an elastic wall member being fastened fluid-tightly to the base housing to form a working air chamber therebetween; and an urging member positioned within the working air chamber for exerting urging force on an output portion provided to the elastic wall member, such that the output portion is actuated to undergo displacement in opposition to the urging member through change in an air pressure in the working air chamber from an outside. At least one of opposing faces of the base housing and the elastic wall member on the working air chamber side thereof has a plurality of rib portions which extend from an inner circumferential side thereof towards an outer circumferential side thereof. A vibration damping device equipped with the pneumatic actuator is also disclosed.

    • A vehicle steering apparatus comprises a rack shaft, a joint provided at an end of the rack shaft, a stopper for regulating a stroke amount of the rack shaft, and a spacer. The spacer comprises an annular elastic member and an annular metal member. The elastic member comprises an inner annular section fitted on the end of the rack shaft and an outer annular section. The metal member comprises an annular section surrounding an outer periphery of the outer annular section of the elastic member. The outer annular section of the elastic member comprises a projection section projecting farther to the stopper than a first abutment section of the metal member when the stopper does not regulate the stroke amount of the rack shaft.
