    • A recording medium producing method comprising a step of coating a coating liquid which is a mixture of an inorganic fine particle dispersion and a water-soluble binder on a support, wherein the inorganic fine particle dispersion is prepared by a process comprising the steps of heating the inorganic fine particle dispersion at a temperature of from 45° C. to 60° C. for a time of from 0.5 to 5 hours, standing the inorganic fine particle dispersion at a temperature of from 10° C. to 40° C. for a time of from 0.5 to 5 hours, and mixing the inorganic fine particle dispersion is mixed with the water-soluble binder.
