摘要： A hinge for a notebook computer is composed of an upper seat, a lower seat, and two arms. The upper seat is rotatably mounted in the lower seat, and the arms are mounted on the upper seat. A monitor of the computer is installed on the arms, and the lower seat is secured on a body of the computer. Therefore, the monitor can be turned about the arms to raise from the body, and turned along with the upper seat about a vertical axis of the lower seat to adjust a visible scope.

摘要： A hinge for a notebook includes an L-shaped seat with a barrel. A pintle has a shaft extending in the barrel of the seat. A first tube, a sleeve and a second tube are in turn mounted on the shaft. The first tube and second tube are securely received in the barrel and each has a stop formed at a respective end facing the sleeve. The sleeve has two arcuate segments respectively formed at two ends and corresponding to the stops of the tubes. Thus, the sleeve can be rotated along with the shaft about the first and second tubes until one arcuate segment of the sleeve abuts the corresponding stop. Whereby, a user can raise the display with a small force to separate the display from the body and a large force to completely raise and position the display.

摘要： A two-stage torsion pivot hinge including an axle connected with a base and having a shaft mounted thereon with a bush for a spring tube. The bush forms a first and a second protrusion element respectively extending out of its two ends. The spring tube is fixedly connected with a supporting member and is provided with two torsion sleeves respectively on the two ends of the bush. Each torsion sleeve has an axial cut and has two contact elements extending respectively toward the two ends of the bush. The contact elements respectively interfere with the first and the second protrusion elements. By the function between the torsion sleeve and the bush, the pivot hinge can provide different torsion forces for the stroke of rotating the screen from its closed position to a vertical angular position and for the stroke from the vertical position to its maximum opening angular position.
